This course is to provide an update on recent developments in the management of patients with advanced liver disease including recent improvements in the management of Metabolic Associated liver disease, GI and Hepatic side effects immunotherapy, and use of TIPS for complications of portal hypertension.
In addition, updates on MELD 3.0 in liver transplantation allocation, managing alcohol use disorder, assessment and management of frail LT candidates, how to assess coronary artery disease in patients with cirrhosis, and the use of extracorporeal machine perfusion of donor livers will be provided. After completing this activity, participants will understand and be able to implement in their practice recent developments in the management of patients with advanced liver disease.
