Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Discuss management of acute pancreatitis based on randomized clinical trial results.
- Discuss the available data on the natural history of pancreatic cysts and to learn about management appropriate to the risk of malignancy.
- Apply the best evidence-based management of uncommon conditions such as pancreas divisum, pancreatitis in pregnant women, and autoimmune pancreatitis.
- Identify the management of autoimmune pancreatitis based on evidence from observational studies and the experience of centers with a high volume of patients with this disease.
