Dear members of the World Muscle Society, friends and colleagues,On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, it was our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2024 World Muscle Society Annual Congress in the city of Prague.
Prague, with its centuries-old architecture, cobblestone streets, and awe-inspiring landmarks, served as the perfect backdrop for our Congress
The Congress, held in The Prague Congress Centre was, once again, a hybrid event, offering the flexibility of virtual participation, while personal attendance enabled delegates to maximise the benefits of networking and scientific exchange.
For this Congress we, as local organisers, picked a topic focused on acquired myopathies. We wanted this topic to broaden the classical topics focused on inherited muscular diseases and bring new experts in our myopathy field.
The 2024 World Muscle Society Annual Congress in Prague was not only a platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research but also an opportunity to forge lasting connections with colleagues from around the world.
