Winship Melanoma & Cutaneous Oncology Symposium 2024 The Winship Cancer Institute Melanoma and Cutaneous Oncology Symposium serve as a valuable forum for the presentation and discussion of newly available data. Participants will be provided with an update on practice-changing data in a practical and interactive format, fostering discussion and impacting clinical outcomes for patients with melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.

This activity is specifically designed to meet the needs of dermatologists, medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, hematologists, residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, nurses, and pharmacists.

  • Discuss recent advances in surgical management of the nodal basin in melanoma
  • Describe pathologic evaluation of pigmented lesions and regional lymph nodes, including evaluation of nodes after neoadjuvant treatment
  • Discuss new insights into melanoma and detection and prevention
  • Discuss current approaches to management of non-melanoma skin cancers
  • Describe approaches to treatment of anti-PD-1 refractory melanoma
  • Describe recent approaches to multidisciplinary management of Merkel cell carcinoma
