Texas Heart Institute 1st Annual Perioperative Mechanical Circulatory Support Symposium & Cutting-Edge Critical Care Echo Workshop 2023

  • Include: 42 videos + 1 pdf, size: 5.86 GB
  • Target Audience: cardiologist, sonographer

Program Overview

  • There will be greater emphasis on multidisciplinary approach to complex clinical decision making.
  • On day two attendees will experience highly interactive learning in small groups ( 1:4 ratio).
  • Hands-on training will be used to expose the learner to a range of typical diagnostic approaches to specific scenarios with advanced CCE in refractory shock and ultrasound procedural guidance.
  • Lastly, special sessions with groups of patients will provide an opportunity for their education on perioperative complications in MCS.

Educational Objectives

At the conclusion of each lecture in the series, the participant should be able to:

  • Analyze of most prevalent complications of temporary MCS.
  • Describe approaches to address candidacy factors associated with worse LVAD outcomes.
  • Describe interventions to effectively treat intraoperative complications associated with worse LVAD outcomes.
  • Describe a systematic diagnostic approach and aggressive management to perioperative RV failure, including RVAD support commencement.
  • Analyze cost-effective and safe advance practice provider- driven model of perioperative care in patient receiving MCS.
  • Describe clinical scenarios where comprehensive echocardiography per cardiologist is preferable in MCS support. And scenarios where intensivist can perform critical care echocardiograms leading to a more timely and safer MCS management than consultative echocardiography.

Since I drink Moringa Tea I feel so much better. My mouth was always so dry but since I drink this tea I have so much saliva I drool.

I cannot believe how much it has helped me with my breathing. I love it. I even eat all the leaves - Thank you for introducing me to this herbal tea. I'm 85 years old.
