Course Overview

The Scripps Arrhythmias and Cardiomyopathy in Women Symposium is designed to increase competence regarding the recognition and management of cardiovascular disease in women. The symposium will explore new and emerging risk factors for women’s heart disease while highlighting areas of discrepancy in care management related to gender. Expert faculty will cover a wide range of topics including the diagnosis, management, and state-of-the-art treatment for women afflicted with heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and  cardiomyopathies. The goal of the activity is to improve outcomes for women with cardiovascular disease and arrhythmias as well as provide educational interventions for both primary and secondary prevention.

Educational Objectives

    • Assess the cardiovascular risk reduction benefits of newer antihyperglycemic therapies in women.
    • Recognize the symptoms of transthyretin amyloidosis and recommended diagnostic tests.
    • Summarize the effects on menopause on cardiovascular risk and the role of hormone replacement therapy.

Since I drink Moringa Tea I feel so much better. My mouth was always so dry but since I drink this tea I have so much saliva I drool.

I cannot believe how much it has helped me with my breathing. I love it. I even eat all the leaves - Thank you for introducing me to this herbal tea. I'm 85 years old.
