■ Recommended management of upper GI bleeding in patients with cirrhosis
■ Current efforts and outcomes to expand the organ donor pool in Michigan including the use of DCD livers

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
    1. Identify the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of steatotic liver disease including the use of diet, exercise, resmetirom, GLP-1 agonists and bariatric endoscopy
    2. Know how to evaluate a patient with a liver mass
    3. Know who and when to use anticraving agents in patients with alcoholic liver disease
    4. Know how to assess and treat patients with covert and overt hepatic encephalopathy.
    5. Utilize recommended management of upper GI bleeding in patients with cirrhosis including use of vasoconstrictors, antibiotics, and endoscopy
    6. Understand current efforts to expand the organ donor pool in Michigan including the use of DCD livers
