Keck USC Diabetes Symposium 2023

Keck USC Diabetes Symposium 2023 USC presents the second year of the USC Diabetes Symposium. This hybrid program, offered in person and over virtual platform, presents updates in the field of diabetes and obesity management with the use of cutting-edge medications, procedures and behavioral techniques.

Highlighted are areas of advancement including medical and minimally invasive procedural management of obesity, updated recommendations for patients with type 2 diabetes, with personalized strategies for each patient, care for patients with diabetes in resource-limited settings, and guidance on evidence-based recommendations for nutrition and use of nonnutritive sweeteners. Presentations from experts in the fields of diabetes, obesity, nutrition, occupational therapy and advanced endoscopy will help inform clinical practice in the management of these complex diseases with a rapidly evolving base of evidence.
